Book Shopping Week

Foster the Reader in Every Child

Set up Book Shopping weeks for a Charter School in Harlem. Organized books for easy accessibility to young readers. Created appealing signage and an encouraging, welcoming environment for children to engage with books. Introduced Book Shopping to groups of 25-30 students and fielded student and teacher questions.

Cacoon Cam

Smart Baby Monitor

I ran a social media and blogger outreach campaign for Cacoon Cam, resulting in dozens of favorable blog reviews, which we featured on their website and in paid ad campaigns. I also pitched in on Zen Desk, drafting answers for frequently asked questions.

Ganxy

e-book distribution startup

Ganxy aspired to democratize the landscape for content creators. I wrote and a/b tested landing pages, ran an email campaign resulting in their biggest ever clients, art directed their cards campaign, created blog posts and social media content, and placed press releases in industry journals.

WriteBug

Like an Exercise App, but for Writers

I co-founded WriteBug, an App to prompt writers to their best work. I wrote landing page content, advised on layout and graphics, project managed the tech team (our one techy journalist friend), signed up a mailing list of nearly 2,000 writers, and wrote and managed a cheeky, fun, and inspiring social media presence.

The Storytellers

Storytelling Central

Oversaw the transfer of the art of storytelling into new mediums with one of Ireland's most famous storytellers—author Frank Delaney. I advised on social media content and creation, ran writing contests on Twitter, brainstormed ideas, reached out to bloggers and reviewers, and edited ebooks for publication.
